Tonight we had the pleasure of having an early dinner at LA Prime. The service was amazing the restaurant is beautiful. Our servicer was Vickie and she was amazing. The steaks were made to perfection and the views were even better! We loved the crab cakes and the amazing bread that comes to the table with butter is sublime. We will be back.
It's located on 35th Floor of Westin. When you walk in, you are welcomed with a magnificent view. You can see the view of Hollywood sign & The Getty Bldg. Our server Maria V was impeccable & friendly. She made us feel comfortable. The food was delicious. It was a great customer journey. My son & his girlfriend made all the arrangements for dinner. Thank you!
I've been to LA Prime several times when in LA for business. It's on the 35th floor of the Westin Bonaventure and has amazing views of the city. Every time I've been, the food, wine, and service have all been fantastic. Back in January I attended a food and wine pairing they did in partnership with St.Francis wines. The chefs from the winery and the restaurant collaborated on the menu and wow-what an experience. Everything was to die for! I'll let the photos speak for themselves, but everything absolutely tasted as good as it looked.
We've been wanting to come by for years! The food was spectacular. We ordered the Lobster Bisque, which had many decent chunks of lobster. For dinner we had the 30oz Rib Eye and Scallops, what a wonderful blend of seafood and beef. 30oz sounded crazy but it was a great piece to share. The $9 Coke threw me off but I guess it's all about the experience lol This is a great place for a date night with views of DTLA. The restaurant does not revolve, but the lounge downstairs does
WOW. Beautiful views, handsome date, great service, and fantastic food. Came here for an anniversary and was served by Norma. She was such a blessing because she gave the best food recommendations and made our night special. We got the New York Steak 18oz and the 10 ounce filet mignon au poivre brandy peppercorn sauce. We also got the brussels sprouts as a starter and two glasses of wine. I was so satisfied with everything and so happy with our date. This is an amazing place to celebrate any occasion or just a nice dinner out. Each bite of the steak was mouth watering and so very well made. Parking is at the bottom parking lot at the Westin lot. You will need to get your parking ticket validated which makes the parking $11 after validation. From the parking lot and going up, you need to go to the yellow elevators (past the red elevators) and go up to the 35th floor. On that same 35th floor, there is also a revolving bar you can check out. We were going to make our way down there but we were already so full from dinner we decided to just skip it and head home. 10/10 would recommend this place.
Great service. Great wine. Best steaks. Came here to celebrate our anniversary and glad we did. From parking to elevators to getting seated and enjoying the wine and dine, everything was great. If it is your first time, try the steak! New York or Filet Mignon or miss out. Staff is great. My view was beautiful. Oh yea, there was a view out the windows but I had a very pleasant view right next to me
This was my first time dining here at Prime LA. I decided to try the Dine LA menu. Although the filet mignon was slightly overcooked, the prime short rib was outstanding. We were celebrating a special occasion, and Cameron, our server, who was both professional and friendly, surprised us with a complimentary dessert. The views were stunning. We opted for valet parking which was $11. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
We came to LA Prime for Dine LA week. This was a great choice and it did not disappoint. First, our pre-dinner drinks were excellent. Lemon drop martini and an old fashioned. Dinner was an 8 oz filet minon and braised short ribs with mouseline potatoes plus a side of brussels sprouts. All excellent and made to perfection. I had a glass of Daou reserve cabernet sauvignon. Excellent with my steak. Desserts were included and delicious. Our waiter, Mark was superb! He was so attentive and was amazing. Definitely ask if you are there. I recommend this restaurant anytime.
Amazing view of LA all around the restaurant. Staffs were great and the food was all delicious. We came here during dineLA and we had an amazing experience. We had lobster bisques and shrimp cocktail for appetizers. My husband and I both had the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. We ordered extra sides, creamed corn, mushroom and Mac and cheese. They were all delicious. For dessert we had cheesecake and the chocolate mousse. We had an amazing overall dining experience, service was great! we will def come back.
Enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings at LA Prime. We were celebrating a birthday and Thanksgiving at the same time, and they did a great job decorating the beautiful private room. It also has an incredible view of the city. Food was delicious with perfectly made prime rib carved in front of us. Turkey was good. We also loved the bread and all the sides. The service was impeccable.
